Awesome park! Heaps of toys and games to play. Extensive football fields, small skate / scooter course track, sand pits, water courses and different types of swings. You can have bbq, play basketball and run in the surroundings. There are also a swimming school and cage to practice cricket. There is an official football field for the football school. In the shade, there are exercise sets of various kinds. Water fountains and clean toilets make this place ideal to bring kids.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Reviewers love the interactive water features β€” kids spend long stretches activating the manual controls. The split-level slide tower keeps different age groups engaged on the same structure, and the skate track adds another layer for older kids.

β€œGreat playground for kids! Giant tower to climb and two different slides - one half way up for younger kids, and one from the top. A nice water play feature and big sports fields to run around.”

β€œGreat fun lots to do, nice water πŸ’¦ features for the kids to play with - different manually activated/controlled devices to make the water flow from one side of the park to the other - helps build team work as you see the water flow with help from 4+ people. Nice talk climbing structure (can’t climb outside only inside) with 2 different slides coming off. Cool swings that can go in circles too - can’t fit 4 kids in easy - just watch that others don’t walk into the swing in motion can wipe out anyone! :-D”

β€œWe visited Parrs Park and Playground today. Day overcast with a slight breeze and felt quite exposed. Flat tracks around the park - which is great for little tots and bikes (but also had an array of walkers/runners and dogs). Playground itself felt to cater for older kids. It had a water play area as well as sand. The main climbing area went high and had two slides - neither of which would be suitable for a pre-school age kid. A few other activity areas, but less inviting than other playgrounds we've frequented.”
