Best for a family game with mixed ages. Strikezone's 14 automated lanes inside Motion Entertainment have bumpers for kids, seven ball grip sizes, laser lighting and music videos, with the Motion Cafe alongside.

Loved the ten pin alley great place

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A reliable rainy-day game for a family with mixed ages: bumpers and the smallest balls mean a four-year-old can join in, and the lights keep teens interested. One game is usually enough for a big family before it gets expensive, and you walk through the arcade on the way in and out, so set expectations with the kids first.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Ask for bumpers when you book the lane; they are always available for kids
Seven ball weights go down to sizes for small hands
🎟️Bowling shoes are compulsory
🚗The arcade is right at the entrance, so agree the plan with the kids before you walk in

Nice place to learn bowling with the family, just be sure to prep the kids beforehand if you don't plan on spending money in timezones as it is situated directly before the bowling alley. So you will walk past it coming in and when you leave. (It is enticing but expensive) For our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) 1 game was enough for us, friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere.

Venue was nice and staff were somewhat friendly they make you wear bowling shoes which was slight inconvenient, Other than that there were plenty of lanes available and they were smooth and let the ball glide efficiently. They had plenty of sizes of balls to choose from ranging from XXL-XXL. They had screens to keep track of score and fun animations.

Had a fun day. Lots of different varieties of games. A bit overpriced for a family of five. Staff member on the Time Zone counter was rude to my husband and daughter. Overall was an OK experience

Overview

Strikezone is the tenpin bowling alley inside the Motion Entertainment complex at Lynmore Junction. Its 14 automated lanes run under LED and laser lighting with music videos on the screens, bumpers go up on request for the kids, and there are seven ball grip sizes down to little hands, which is the detail parents notice. Smart scoring runs on the lane screens with animations for strikes and spares. The Motion Cafe serves the lanes, and bowling can be bundled into multi-passes and party packages.
