1 / 3Wood Bay Reserve
đ Titirangi, Auckland
Wood Bay Reserve in Titirangi is a tranquil spot overlooking the bay with swings, one toilet facility, free parking, and a shell-covered shoreline. Suited to families wanting a calm, scenic break rather than a full beach day.
One of my favourite spots to be alone at. It's such a peaceful little piece of Titirangi with a Picknick bench and amazing sunrises.
đ Family Action Verdict
Regulars describe Wood Bay as one of their favourite spots to spend quiet time â the peaceful atmosphere, bay views, and shell shoreline offer a natural experience very different from a managed beach or playground. Families with children who enjoy exploring rocky and shell-covered foreshores will find it engaging. The swings and picnic bench give young children a reason to linger, and the free parking makes it an easy stop on a drive through Titirangi.
