Kahawairahi Playground at 33 Kahawairahi Drive, Beachlands is a relatively new (2019) destination council playground with varied equipment for different age groups, a long fast slide, sandpit, swings, basketball court, and a nature trail through the playground.
A very nice playground, it opened late 2019. It is well spaced out, with a very cool Nature trail walk around and through the playground. The slide is fast and the climb up is fun and challenging for the toddler's. There are 2 sets of swings, 1 for the younger kids and the other bigger set for the bigger kids. No public toilets though!

“A really, really nice playground in the neighbourhood.👍🏻 There are quite a few different activities for different age groups; from sandpit, swings to long slide and basket ball court. Also has a nice bike track as well. Worth a visit👍🏻”
