1 / 2Omana Beach Road Beachside Playground
đ Maraetai, Auckland
A well-maintained playground directly beside the beach at Maraetai, combining swings, slides, and climbing equipment with beach access, white shell sand, and clear views across to Waiheke Island.
This is a decent sized playground in the Omana beach area and close to the access road in the area. The swings and slides are well maintained. Kids can have a good time spent here along with the beach in the vicinity. There are public toilets nearby and green patches make for a good picnic site. The location is easily accessible by road and ample parking is available here too. Well recommended overall.
đ Family Action Verdict
A playground and beach stop combined â the views to Waiheke Island are genuinely beautiful, and the well-kept equipment means kids can bounce between sand and play structure all afternoon.

Overview
Omana Beach Road Playground sits right alongside the beach at Maraetai, giving families a playground and beach visit in one stop. Swings, slides, and climbing frames are well maintained. The shoreline is white shell sand with clear turquoise water and uninterrupted views of Waiheke Island. Parking is available on the grass under trees close to the playground. Visiting at high tide brings the most swimmable water for younger children.
