Beautiful place with great views of the lake and the mountains in the background. You can walk along the shoreline for quite some distance enjoying the tree covered paths and the lake. Occassionally you can see the steam boats plying in the lake.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

The weeping willow branches touching the water are specifically photogenic β€” Albany Bradley spent hours there just taking in the views. It's the kind of Queenstown spot that rewards wandering without an itinerary.

β€œSaint Omer Park is a great spot if you’re looking for something quieter and less crowded. I really appreciated how peaceful it felt compared to other nearby areas. One thing that stood out is that the ground is mostly stones and pebbles rather than sand, which made it easy to dry my feet without ending up with sand in my socksβ€”small detail, but surprisingly nice. It’s a simple, relaxing place to take a break by the water and enjoy the scenery without the crowds. Definitely worth a visit if you prefer a calmer park experience.”

β€œGreat park right by the lake. It has a nice view of the snowy mountain. You can walk on the path along the trees or walk on the edge of the lake during low tide.”
