Best for a rainy hour in town with primary-age kids. Timezone's Rotorua branch opened in late 2025 in the Rotorua Central mall with arcade and prize games, Spin Zone bumper cars, short-lane bowling, a floor-is-lava ColourGrid and party rooms.
Myself and my kids had such a fun time at Timezone Rotorua Central! It was our first time ever going to a Timezone since we live out of town in a small country area, so we don’t usually get access to places like this. A family member recommended we come check it out, and I’m so glad we did.As soon as we walked in, we noticed how much there was to do as a family. The place was clean, tidy, and had such a good vibe. The staff were all really helpful, but I have to give a special shoutout to Tamara she was honestly amazing. She helped us figure out what would be best for my family and made everything so easy.We came over the long weekend, and she let us know about the deals they had on. We ended up going with the triple dollar deal ($110), and we still had so much credit left over, which was awesome. She also made sure we knew we could come back to her anytime if we needed help, which made the whole experience even better.Big ups to her managers because her service was top tier! Thank you Timezone Rotorua for making our family day so special we’ll definitely be back.😊😊

A dependable rainy-day hour in the centre of town, and the bumper cars and mini bowling give younger kids something beyond the claw machines. Load a card rather than feeding coins, set a limit, and time a visit for the school-holiday top-up specials. Few reviews so far, but they are uniformly glowing.

Timezone opened its Rotorua branch in December 2025 in the Rotorua Central mall on Victoria Street, and it is the town's newest arcade. Alongside the usual prize and ticket machines there are rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution and Taiko no Tatsujin, racing cabinets, Spin Zone bumper cars, short-lane bowling and a ColourGrid floor where kids race across pressure-sensitive light panels. Party rooms are available for birthdays, and the mall car park is right outside.
