Glad we visited this location even after visiting the one in Wellington. We didn't do the workshop experience, but decided to just check out the gift shop. It was surprisingly a lot bigger than the Weta Cave in Wellington and carried a lot more products, even non-LOTR items. Love that Smaug can be found here, too. 🐉

“This location offers an excellent opportunity to observe the process of film production. The Weta Cave is conveniently situated in the city center, adjacent to the Grand Hotel. Additionally, this building houses the All Black Experience, which is also a pleasant attraction to visit.”
